Description
A colorful well cast brush washer with peonies and prunus flowers on a dark red ground. The mouth is framed with a lappet border. The shading of the colors on the flower petals is masterfully done. The unmarked base has a blue enamel covering.
The brush wash is heavy and shows a nice aged brass rim and foot.

6 ½” (16.5 cm) diameter x 2 1/8” (5.4 cm) tall. Weighs 1 lb 0.7 oz (475 g)
CONDITION
There is one small enamel loss on the shoulder. There are couple of nicks in the metal on the mouth rim. There is wear to the blue enamel on the base, as well as some corrosion to the wires in the well. The glass enamels are not perfect and show pitting. There are no other dents, cracks, or breaks. The brass mouth edge and foot brass have a nice aged oxidization color.
