I offer you a professional antenna cable with a multi-strand copper-nickel core and a braided outer braid.
Externally, the line does not differ from lines used in lashings or for industrial applications.
Thanks to the braid and synthetic fiber filling, the antennas made of this line have a very high breaking strength of 150 kg and can also be hung and hung up many times in the field.
Outer cable diameter 4.3 mm.
Line resistance 1 meter approx. 0.3 Ω.
The conducting element consists of eight copper-nickel wires, each 0.3 mm in diameter.
Total cross-section approx. 0.7 mm2.
Another important advantage of this line is that it does not tangle by itself and does not tend to curl.
When installing insulators, make sure that the entire force is transmitted through the braid and the filling, and not through the inner core.
This is done by using clamps or ties in the correct number.
The inner vein is led in the middle with some excess.
Thanks to this, the line does not degrade the internal vein by stretching.
Lines of this type are originally used in light field antenna systems, which are also stays for masts.
This makes it possible to implement sets of dipoles with switchable characteristics.
It also saves a lot on the weight of the equipment you take.
The weight of 250 meters of rope is about 3.5 kg.
